Worth its weight in gold!
I ordered this for my 7lb shih tzu. She hates it but she would hate anything I put on her. We were out paddle boarding when a wind took the board in a circle just as the pup walked to the front of the board. Because of the wind, she slid off (not expecting the turn) and PLOP into the water. Thankfully, she was wearing the life jacket and her face didn’t even get wet! Of course the cutie was annoyed with me but she was safe and we got back on the board and finished our journey. Bottom line, the jacket did what it was intended to do!

We got an XS based on the measurements. It fits our 8.5 lb chihuahua perfect. It’s traps are adjustable it Velcro’s then clips. We use it to take her kayaking with us and when we swim in the local river. She’s not the most eager swimmer but wants to always be nearby so it gives me peace of mind that it keeps her floating. I love the handle on the back so I can lift her out of the water if needed. Overall very pleased.

Great value for a tiny chunky chihuahua
This life jacket is perfect for my 10lb chihuahua. I purchased a small after reading reviews mention that they run small. I definitely agree. Normally I would have bought an xs, I’m thankful I didn’t. She’s chunky but small and it fits well around her body, the neck has a large opening but it doesn’t interfere with her floating. Also the red polka-dot is more a bright pink.

Life saving first use!
Saved their lives as they both took leaps off the swim platform without notice!!! Thank god I put them on! Also they made serious tracks across the water and gave me a good unexpected workout sprinting to go get them both in opposite directions, so great range of motion! Puppies at 13 weeks old, 3 and 4 lbs wore XS AND FIT PERFECTLY.

Runs small and took forever to arrive
Very small on a 6 month Mini Aussie.. specially the bottom.. but the Puppy loves it as he floats as advertised.Took forever to arrive.Then the dog pulled on the leash and the leash loop ripped right out. could use some reinforcement there
