    Just over 3 months
This toy was a lot heavier than i thought it would be also larger. It lasted longer than i thought hes usually breaking and tearing toys apart within a few days this pig lasted over 3 months and was his favorite toy. Unfortunately i think he found the weak spot of the ears and focused his chewing on that for almost the entire 3 months. The fluff is the compact fluff so its not too bad to clean up now that its open.

Perfect toy for highly destructive dogs
My sister got a Jug (Jack Russel/Pug mix) a few years back and she was the cutest little dog. Her favorite kind of toy always has been stuffed animal types. Unfortunately after a few months every stuffed animal we bought her was decapitated and “de-stuffed” within minutes resulting in us having to throw out our creepy “stuffed animal graveyard.” She is an extremely powerful dog, able to pull a 75 pound child around a room who’s holding onto the other end of a rope.We switched to Kong rubber balls and Kong ropes which last forever but she just doesn’t enjoy them as much. Three years ago her boyfriend bought the dog this exact pig. She had it for over a year before finally tearing into it. Even though she tore into it, because of the way it was constructed it took another year and a half to remove all the stuffing from it. She still to this day has the carcass of it, which only has a tiny hole in it still.I recently purchased her a replacement and am experiencing the same results. These toys are definitely built to last a long time and are quality made, well thought out designs. There is only one downside, some dogs seem not to enjoy them. We also have a Bichon Frise who is terrified of the toy. This is most likely due to the toy being the same size as she is, though the same is true of the Jug. That being said, buy this toy! It is worth every cent, but if you have a small dog, try out one of the “Junior” products by the same company.

    My dogs killed them
Actually, the worst dog toy that I could’ve gotten for my dogs. I should’ve looked at the reviews before I bought them, but I thought they were adorable and some of the reviews weren’t too bad so I didn’t think my dogs would really destroy them. Oh boy did they ever..They tore them a part.Firstly, if you buy toys of anything you need to pay attention through your dogs and I I walked out of the room. I don’t know for five minutes doing something so when I went back to the living room where they were and they had yeah I had stuff all over the floor worst tour ever do not get them. I suggest strongly find something else Waste of money.I did complain to Amazon and I did get my money back because I said that was false advertising..Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of them, but if you look at everybody else’s pictures, they have their dogs through it apart, where the stuffing is all over the place then you get the idea

Not Just a Pretty Pig | Tuff | Heavy | Lasted 1.75 yrs
Tuffy has a good rep and the pig was well received. It was not his favorite toy but it did get pulled into the ring periodically.Coopie is not a power chewer so it lasted ~1.75 years…then the pig lost it’s head.It was definitely durable (touts multi-layer construction), soft for chewing and a decent tug toy. Only change I would make is the weight – seemed heavy for a toy that size.PROS✅ Durable for it being a soft toy✅ Easy to clean✅ Another pig for the dog that has all the pigsCONS❌ A little heavy for sustained play❌ Pricey

    XL is Great Dane approved!
Would buy again. Toughest of the tuffy toys we’ve seen yet. My dogs eventually rip pieces off of them but the pig has done well after 2 months so far!

    To each their own
I’ll be honest, I had high hopes for this but my 9 month old (albeit Large Breed) dog was able to tear the tears and feet and was eating the stuffing before I knew it. It’s great if you don’t mind that, I was just hoping it would have lasted longer. I appreciate the concept and he loved it (clearly) but I don’t like picking up stuffing and watching him eat it!

Hoping this dog toy would last a while but not for my dog.
This dog toy is heavy and feels indestructible, but it’s not. My Rottweiler puppy at 10 months old had it for one day and found the weakness and proceeded to take it apart. She did the damage to the leg by shaking it and then sunk her teeth through the fabric on the belly. I think this toy would probably be fine for most dogs. But if you have a very determined and powerful chewer it may not work for you. Since it is heavy for a dog toy it’s not suitable for a small dog either. I took the toy away because I knew once damaged she would get inside and start eating it. Now that I wrote my review I can finally throw it out. Still searching for something that will last for a while but I’m not sure it exists.

    Tuffys are the Best
These Tuffy toys have been the ONLY toys my Aussie hasn’t completely destroyed in a day or two. She currently has the small Pig, the Donut, the Bone and the Crab and the newest addition the Alien. I was concerned with the Crab because she like to chew off legs, arms, etc but Crabby is still intact. I know there are hard rubber toys that can last a long time but Nellie doesn’t like them so Tuffys are it for her. Oh, and NO squeakers in any of the ones she owns. Despite the higher price tag, I highly recommend Tuffys for true durability.

‘Suzy the Destroyer’ (Wolfhound cross) loves to play tug and this is one of her favourite toys. More than 6 months on and while the tail and ears have taken a beating, the body of this toy remains intact. A good toy for the heavy chewers. Is also hilarious to watch the dog running along with this in her mouth!

If your dog is destructive, this is possibly the best toy for him. It is very sturdy and will last a LONG time. My dog destroys stuffed toys in a matter of minutes and Tuffy toys are the only toys that have lasted us over a year!

I’ve got a 7 month old Labrador cross, who has eaten all previous stuffed toys. He eats about 2 tennis balls per walk and so needs a toy that is sturdy and will last him a bit longer. He immediately took to the pig and managed to eat it’s tail on day one. The toy is now, after 2 weeks, starting to look a bit frayed but still feels very sturdy and he loves it. Maybe I should have gone with a ‘sturdiness factor’ of 10, but I thought this would be sturdy enough considering he is not a pit bull terrier. Also, the toy is quite heavy and when he is shaking it around, we all make sure everything breakable is safely stowed away! All in all, I would buy him another one again when this one dies.
