Litter Box Enclosure
The product was as just as the picture showed nd came as the seller stated. I purchased this item for a “Feral Cat” that we socialized as a younger kitten. When we had him checked by our local veterinarian we discovered that he is FIV positive and now has come to live his days in our Sunroom. This cat is on Lysine and Digestive Aids and his box odors can be stronger than our inside two “Siamese”. I wanted to disguise the litter box in our Sunroom, hope to eliminate excessive tracking of his litter and help disguise the odder. My husband, has many other projects at the time and being too busy to build the litter box enclosure, led me to purchase the product. Being that he is very handy in wood working he put the cat liter box enclosure together with no concerns. It appeared that is would be a very basic project for anyone to do. It came with no damage, easy to follow instructions, was a good choice of color to match the furnishings in our Sunroom. One of the ratings showed that their item came damaged with the backside in a white material and damage along the edges. The one we received is all the same type and color all the way around, with the same MDF and veneer overlay that will be very easy to clean. Charlie (our Sunroom Cat) had no problem in adjusting to using this as it contained no strange odor as some furniture can have. He likes sitting on the top, and being a cat use to the outdoors for so many months, find any litter box a place to hide. If you keep the upper high sides on the box it will be a tighter fit, yet easy to turn slightly to pull out and clean. The litter box small open area was a place that I felt Charlie would be able to seek a haven when someone comes to visit as he is not a socialized cat. I purchased this with the suggested litter box and the mats. The litter box has the higher side attachment and good especially for the male cat that he is. He also covers all his matter deeply so with the higher sides it helps to keep the litter contained and not overflow unto the floor inside, plus (so far) keep the urine from dripping unto the product. The matts are thicker and better at trapping litter from the previous similar matts that I have purchased. So far I have seen much less litter on the floor outside of the box and have yet to decide if I will add a matt at the entrance. The whole idea is to disguise the box completely and it does just that. with less sweeping of the floor when I clean the box. The one question I had, which the manufacture answered, was the formaldehyde that holds the MDF material together and its rating. They stated is is a 0.068, which if I remember correctly it should be below 0.11. I like this box and look to purchase a similar ones – yet smaller- for our inside cats litter boxes that we have. To me I found it be a very attractive piece of furniture. I did not get the matt pad for the top which would have been a great addition to the whole kit. I am able to sew one and was looking for something to match the cabin – fishing décor of our sunroom. I may change my mind later as the cost of fabric, like everything else these days, has increased more that I had anticipated. Hope you find this information helpful.

Great for hiding litter box
Nice hiding spot for litter box. Using with Petsafe auto litter box with crystal litter and with two cats will rarely smell anything for 10-14 days until time to change the litter out. Also helps contain litter tracking with a good Matt outside ofCat entrance. Doesn’t eliminate litter tracking but greatly improves things.

The package arrived a few days late – but I’m so pleased with the product that I don’t think they should be penalized LOLI’d recommend an electric drill to make it easy to screw in the Philips screws (the box has an Allen wrench for the other bolts that works just fine).- It’s heavy, so the top lip drops loudly / you need to be careful to lower it down once you passed the point where the hinge mechanism folds inwards.- perfectly sized / designed front opening doors that match easily (nothing is wobbly or unstable or cheap feeling)

Everyone’s Happy
Our cats liked their litter box in one place and one place only. Unfortunately, that place was easily accessible for our dogs to get litter box cookies, and when we strategically placed furniture around the area to keep them out, I was still always fishing out ping pong balls and having to wash them. We set up this litter box house right where the cats would be happy, and now no more litter box cookies or washing ping pong balls. One of our cats is a big boy, and he fits in there great. We don’t use the secondary wall because our littler box is too big. When we first started using it, I put the litter box in there with both doors open, waited 2 days, then shut one door and then waited 2 more days and shut both. That worked great to acclimate the cats. I also like that it keeps our smaller cat’s litter flinging tendencies contained. I just keep a small hand broom and dustpan near by to sweep out the litter outside of the box.

Easy to assemble, high quality.
I was skeptical, but after taking it out of the box and assembling it I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It’s heavy duty and easy to assemble. The wood quality is honestly solid. It looks high end for it to just b cover your cat poop.

Covers smells, nice to look at
We have a larger, stainless steel litter box that measures about 2 feet by a little over 1 foot — definitely on the larger side, and several inches deep. It fits inside of this enclosure just fine and still has a bit more space.When it comes to cleaning — not super sure what’s going on here. I’ve cleaned it twice, and the first time was when I was cleaning the top and used Clorox cleaning spray, but not the harsh bleach one. I let it sit to disinfect and when I wiped it off it brought up the finish of the enclosure – I had paper towels covered in black gunk.Then, just last night, I was deep cleaning the inside and just used Dawn soap. Doing this caused the soap to turn a strange red color that made me panic and think our cats had bled all over the inside when peeing or something before I realized it was just the stain used on it.The door magnets work well and we’ve not had any issues with them, though you do need to be careful to not put them on backwards like I did initially. The inside panel that separates the litter box from the door can be excluded without affecting the structure of it, and allows larger boxes rather than a divided box to access via the doors.Overall, it looks great and we haven’t had any issues with it leaking. It keeps the smell in for the most part, and to make sure the smell is maintained, we also have an air purifier placed directly above it. It is right next to our kitchen and we never have any issues with smell.

Bought this as wanted something super discreet for my 4 year old British short hair Tinkerbelle and her 12 week old little brother Buddy. Was so impressed at how very easy this was to put together. The instructions are so straight forward and every piece and bag of screws etc were clearly marked by letters so there was no way you could go wrong. If only all DIY items came this way. Built this myself in just 30 minutes. You can choose which end the entry hole goes which is ideal and whether you want the in between doorway bit or not which is very handy if you have or need a larger litter tray. Very sturdy classy looking but of furniture that only you will ever know what it houses. Always had covered litter tray housed under a coffee table but this is fab and next level. As you can see cat loves sitting on it which is an added bonus and despite her grumpy face she does love it. The doors open easily on the front to make changing the litter very easy. I have put a deep litter tray in and a litter grabbing mat in the i between section which completely stop ms any litter spilling out. To begin with we are keeping one door open to allow the cat’s to get used to it and for us to feel confident they are happy then we will close the door. Very impressed with it and the colour is lovely. Very well put together design and I feel it will definitely stand up to the test of time and my little fluff balls!!
