Multiple tools for grooming various areas; easy to use
Our 14 lb. wirehaired dachshund requires little grooming except excess hair around her feet and toes. Our mixed-breed 7 lb bundle of yellow fluff needs a lot of precise grooming of her fast-growing curly fur for various areas in between her 6-week visits to her groomer. At first both were suspicious of the QREEYX Upgrade Dog Grooming Kit clipper (I ordered the Pink color) as it does make a bit of noise, but after letting them examine it and get used to it, and a few small treats with lots of reassurance, I used the smallest of the trimmer heads and combs to groom Brownie’s feet and the excess hair between her toes. Victoria watched apprehensively, but she is used to being groomed all over, so she allowed me to trim all over her body, using different size heads and combs for her head, along her sides, under her belly, and a quick pass under her chin. I did not use the nail grinder since our groomer only charges $5 to trim Brownie’s nails, and a nail trim is included with Victoria’s grooming sessions. Cleaning is easy since the clipper is waterproof, a mini brush is included to clean the heads along with a small bottle of lubricating oil, and the combs are washable too. Overall, iit works well for our small dogs. It’s a useful kit for home trims and for touch-ups between visits to a professional grooming.

Surprisingly nice kit
A lot of dog hair trimmers are built fairly cheaply. This set is far better than most I’ve seen, however.The clipper base is sturdy and feels good in my hand. While not specifically “no slip” on the surface, the plastic is textured so that I’m not worried about it sliding out of my hand while I’m using it like I would if the plastic were slick. The head attachments (so many options for length and even nails!) are easy to take off and put back on, but at the same time, feel firmly attached and have no play back and forth like a lot I’ve seen. This kit even includes lubricating oil and a little brush for cleaning it, which I’ve only really seen with higher priced kits.Noise wise, this seems to be about what I’d expect. It’s not silent, but isn’t so loud that it scares my dogs when I turn it on.My only concern is with the nail grinder. If you have a dog with harder nails, I’m not sure the RPM’s will cut it (no pun intended). All the nail grinders I’ve used have been about double RPM’s. While this works on our dogs nails that are softer (and smaller), if you’re grooming big dogs with tough nails, I’d probably skip that attachment head and use another tool.All in all, this is a fantastic kit I expect we’ll use for many years.

Nice Set for the Price
I have tried several different trimmers over the years. I have spent more on less quality trimmers. They are truly low noise. My dog is very weary of trimmers, so this is an important feature for me. Good selection of clipper heads. They are sturdier than many I have seen in home grooming tools. The fact that this set also comes with a nail grinder is also very nice.

Doesn’t work!
Received the item, charged it then nothing! It won’t turn on at all. I understand sometimes items are faulty but isn’t that what your QC department is for?

Got this to replace my current clippers. Like that there are lots of options to handle all grooming needs. I use the regular size head for all over cutting, the smallest head for paw trimming, the medium size for cleaning up around the more delicate areas. The grinder is also handy for after clipping nails. The various speeds helps get through matted fur and makes grinding nails faster too. Not very noisy and it doesn’t seem to get hot but I’m finding it does nick skin more than other clippers I’ve used so you need to be more careful especially in-between paw pads. It is easy to use and grip but I’m constantly adjusting the speeds and turning it off while I’m using it since the power button is where you hold it. Not bad for the price but need to find a way to hold it without turning it off.

Better than I expected, for this price
A nice grooming set can cost a pretty penny, so I did not have high expectations from this set. Sometimes the blades are just not that good, or the battery life is terrible. The battery life is really good, at least so far.The set comes with several trimmer heads and combs that can be used in various areas of the pet’s body. The curved trimmer is wonderful for paws. It is not too heavy, it is easy to use, and not as noisy as other clippers (especially if you’re used to old-school tools). The clippers are also easy to clean and they can even be rinsed with water, as they are waterproof. I haven’t used the nail grinder yet and not sure if I will, so I cannot comment on its efficiency.

Ordered for cats but my spouse prefers it on his head
I ordered this clipper for my 2 cats, to trim down their claws. I thought I would give it a try to see if they would tolerate it. The noise wasn’t too loud, but they are anxious cats and both dove under the bed when they saw the tool in my hand. How they knew my intentions I will never understand. I did eventually get one to sit in my lap and I tried to manipulate exposing her claws, but as soon as the tool started she bolted away.However, the upside of all this is that my husband saw me using this and remarked on how much it resembles his human hair clippers, but it is considerably lighter. He took it from me (despite it being pink) and tried the different pieces out, along with the guards. He really likes it and it is now in the bathroom, in a drawer under the sink and awaiting his use.For the price it’s a very good value.
