This is a great box when you don’t want an overwhelming smell of cat pee or poop. The stainless doesn’t soak up any of the smell so once you clean it, you’re left with a fresh base again.The size of the box itself is good to grow with your cat too.

Worth the money!
So, I was tired of the smell and the stains from the plastic litter box. I bought this stainless steel one and what an improvement!Easier to scoop out waste and smell doesn’t linger as it does in plastic. Worth the cost!

When I picked up the litter box to clean it it sliced in my finger wide open. If it wasn’t for skin glue I would have needed stitches.

Alright, the lid/cover is really flimsy and unstable
I use it without the covering now because it broke shortly after purchasing this, but the cat uses it either way, I just hoped the cover would help contain the smell but oh well.

Works good for food
When I originally got this, we had an inside cat trying to transition him to outside. Once it arrived, the cat was outside full time. So since we had no need to use it as a litter box, and it was still brand new, we decided to use it for when we cook on the smoker to hold food. It is big and works good to hold bbq pork for sandwiches and other meats. This never had cat litter in it, it was taken out of the box and washed and used for food and worked perfectly

My cat used it
I have had bad luck with getting my smallest 6lb cat to use litterboxes that are covered. She actively refuses 99% of the time, so color me surprised when I caught her fully inside this litterbox day after day.The litterbox is just a standard stainless steel litterbox. Then you attach the hood over the sides, put the litter catcher in front, and do something with the scoop it comes with, like throwing it in the garbage and buying a metal litter scooper. Knowing my cat, I knew she would hop over the litter catching device and I instead got a litter catching mat. As a note, upon seeing her enter it the first time she did in fact leap over the device intended to catch litter and onto the mat. So I just removed the device and left the mat.The stainless steel litterbox is very easy to clean and is very large. My 12lb cat also went into it with no issues and she has arthritis. The box seems to keep smell in quite well. I clean it every other day, since I have 4 litterboxes and 3 cats. This one is quite popular with all of the cats though, which I found quite interesting.Overall I do recommend it. Even my anti-cover cat didn’t seem to mind this one because she had so much space inside.

The difference in how my house smells is amazing!
The litter box is exactly as described. Solid, non-stick, with non-skid feet. It truly doesn’t hold smells like the plastic. Easy to clean. Nice high sides so the cats never accidentally go outside of the box. I will never go back to plastic.
