Train your dog properly to use this wonderful ramp
Don’t forget, dogs don’t naturally tend to want to go off these ramps. Please lay the ramp out of the ground and put him at heel and walk him over the ramp several times rewarding your dog with treats. Cheng put the ramp up and make however many passes is necessary to make your dog comfortable. I have the wide wide version which is just wide enough for my 115 lb West German Shepherd dog. It is an easy ramp to store and unfold. Just don’t expect your doug like it at first as much as you do.

Works great for my old Labrador retriever.
This ramp works great. A bit heavy, but manageable. I use it to let my old yellow lab get onto the bed and get into the car. It took her all of three minutes to learn how to use it (I was proud!). Sometimes I find it useful to hold her by the collar as shes goes up the ramp so she doesn’t accidentally step off the side.

great for older large dogs
My 13 year old 80lb rottweiler is aging and struggling to get up into the truck and up stairs. I can’t lift her, so I really needed something to help her. It took a few times on leash and coaching her for her to feel comfortable using this, but now she loves it! She is ready to go for rides again. This is pretty heavy and cumbersome, and you have to be careful not to pinch your fingers.

Good product, would recommend
I love this pet ramp! I have older dogs and with a little prompting (putting front paws on the ramp then leaving with leash) they were able to use the ramp without issue. It saves them possible injury/sore muscles from jumping in and out. And it saves my back from trying to pick up my Labs and put them in the truck. It works well both for the bed of the pickup and cab. Only area for improvement would be in ease of folding up, just awkward not difficult. But great value and no issues with slipping or moving when setup appropriately.

Wish it was wider
My dog is so sketched out by it, I think he would like it better if it was wider. He also hates new things and he is 13 year old lab mix. It took me 3 months to get him to use a doggie door and that was when he was 8, so we are currently training to use it right now. He keeps walking away like he has other plans than working on training on walking up the ramp (he is fine going down). He tries to army crawl up it and keeps falling off it and then I have to catch him, overall I think the product is fine but I would like it to be wider because my dog is a menace. It is sturdy and it seems like it’s not slippery.

Perfect for our older dogs
Exactly what we needed for our large elderly dogs. We previously used a folding step system for the dogs to get into our vehicles, however, now that our dogs have arthritis they are no longer able to walk safely up the steps. We have 2 dogs, 95 and 70 lbs. They both use the ramp without hesitation. The carpet material is great for keeping them from slipping.

Very heavy but very well made
This is a fabulous ramp, but it is very awkward to open when you’re standing there with your dog wanting to get out of the car. Obviously, equally difficult to fold up once the dog gets out and you wanna keep them for running away while you fold this up. Plus it weighs a ton. 20 pounds? I don’t think so. It is incredibly well built, but I think I’m going to return it.
