Not for groomers. Lovely for eczema and dirty dogs
I have eczema on my hands and pretty bad sensory issues from it. In order to combat my procrastination due to my issues, I decided to get some dog washing gloves. Seems silly but it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. These gloves easily remove the dirt out of my dog’s fur from our long hikes.I have small (and chubby) hands and these gloves are too big for me, but I’m used to that. Mentioning in case it would bother someone else, because they do tend to flop around.I put “not for groomers” because they’re not the best for daily vigorous use, unless you cinch the wrist opening and get the proper size for your hand. I can put up with the cons of these (too big, floppy, water tends to get inside depending on how crazy the bath gets) for 5 minutes every 2 weeks but a groomer using them everyday would hate them.They’re a good value for the cost because I need them! They did not smell, they’re solid build quality unless your dog wants to chew through them (they haven’t ripped on me or anything), and they work exceptionally well at cleaning my dogs and keeping my hands decently dry.

Makes bathing easier
I have never used gloves like this before now, and they won’t be my last pair. Much easier to wash wearing these instead of trying to hold onto something with slippery wet hands or using bare hands. I also feel like I can get my puppers cleaner this way. They’re a little to big so water gets inside sometimes, but it won’t keep me from using them. I haven’t tried them on her dry for hair removal, but I will when necessary. Overall, well-made and a good deal.

Not perfect, but works
Used these to de-shed my dog. They grab onto and removes loose hair well. Problem is to remove the hair from these gloves. I used these to wash my dog as well. Seems to lather better than bare hands. The gloves seems pretty durable. Works as intended and pretty well.

**UPDATE 3/12/2025** Glove split across the palm on the second use. Downgrade to two stars.I have a very large Newfoundland mix dog. Baths are definitely an adventure. I feel that she is getting cleaner when I use these gloves because they actually get into her coat. I wish they were a little bit longer, but that is just personal preference and no criticism of the product. These work great and I’m glad to have them!

Works well on my senior cat
I have a senior cat who has difficulty cleaning herself in her old age. Her skin is quite sensitive and she does not enjoy being brushed by conventional brushes. I was really hoping this style would work and thankfully it does. The soft silicone bristles gently pull the loose hairs off her coat without aggravating her. Where I could previously only brush her for a few moments before she became upset, these silicone gloves allowed me to pet and groom her for a half hour and remove a lot of her loose hair.I was worried these gloves would be difficult to clean, but it’s actually quite easy. I found that allowing a ‘mat’ of hair to build up on the bristles allows you to roll up the hair very easily and prevents loose hairs from flying away.I’ve used a lot of different styles of brushes for my pets and I greatly appreciate how gentle this brush is for my cat who doesn’t enjoy being brushed.
