    Worked for my kitten.
We adopted a 5-week old kitten who quickly grew out of the small kitten litter box I purchased. I still needed a smallish litter box for her because we were still keeping her in an office but needed a bigger one than we were using. This litter box is listed as “large” and as other reviewers have stated, it is anything but large. That being said, I knew that going into it, and purchased this specifically for its small-medium size, litter guard, and low front. My kitten loves to dig and kick the litter out everywhere. This litter box was perfect for my needs, especially for the price. I didn’t want to spend a lot because she’ll only be this small size for a short time. This really ended up being the perfect size and the guard keeps the litter in the box. There are two holes on either side to attach the guard to the box more securely. No hardware was included but I just used small zip ties and that worked fine. I would definitely purchase this box again for this purpose. It’s great for kittens!

    My cat likes it
It’s the perfect size for my cat. He likes it as soon as it came out of the box. Happy cat happy customer. It’s quality plastic. Should be easy to clean. It clips together simply.. it’s deep enough. Not shallow. But not super bulky. I would recommend to cats

    A great value!
I was looking for a cheap temporary litter box to send to a friend who had a knee injury. He kept his cats litter box in the basement and couldn’t go up and down stairs while he was hurt, so I ordered this and some litter to send to him to help keep kitty happy. You can’t beat this price and it’s a decent size. His cat is what you would call a “chonk” so even with him being a big boy this litter box still worked for him. I would have preferred a box a tad larger, but this did the job. The raised edges help to keep litter in the box. It’s easy to clean. You can’t go wrong with this, unless you do have a larger cat who needs a bit more room.

Great low-cost solution to keeping litter in place, especially if you need a pan that’ll fit inside of a litter box cover!
Great litter pan at a great price!I’ve been using a roll-a-way litter box for years, but upon needing a temporary litter pan option for my kitten recovering from neutering, I picked one of these up from my local Wally World… next thing I knew, all three of my boys were just sitting and chilling in this litter pan (with its fresh layer of clean litter) in turns. After visiting my parents and getting them set up with a litter box cover, I decided to get rid of my old reliable roll-a-way litter box, and set myself up at home with this pan and the much more elegant-looking Trixie Pet Products Wooden Cat Home & Litter Box, Brown that this pan fits perfectly within.I’m now all too happy to have friends and family come visit because no longer are they confronted with a big, not-so-clean-looking rolling litter box and nothing else to polish up my bathroom. With the high back of this litter pan comfortably housed in my litter box cover, I can now use the cover to lay out magazines and other knick-knacks on an end table-like cover, with a litter box inside that is dirt cheap, and just as effective as my previous litter box. Yes, it requires a bit more work on my part to clean this one out, but it’s a few minutes more of nightly cleaning, with a much lower profile litter box.As a side note, I bought the comparable Van Ness CP5 Sifting Cat Pan/Litter Box with Frame, Assorted Colors, which I now keep stacked under the bottom layer of this one (and, FYI, since the pictures make it hard to tell, the entire bottom of the sifting pan is perforated like the holes you see in the picture. I wasn’t sure of that when I ordered it, so hopefully that little tidbit of information helps others decide on it). Sometimes I use the sifting pan to dump the used litter from this one into, sometimes I just leave it sandwiched in between the pan layers. It really doesn’t make much of a difference in the time I spend cleaning this one, so either option should be fine for the happy feline owner. The sifting version will run you about ten bucks more, which is over twice the price of what this basic version will cost you, so if you’re looking for a low-cost but effective solution to keep your cat litter where you want it, this is your best bet.

    Very small
This product was supposed to be large/jumbo.

This has become the cats’ favorite
Got the new litter box to set up a room for a newly adopted cat. Now that all the cats are united and the new arrival is no longer isolated, this box has remained in place, as it’s become the favorite for all the cats. I do think it has to do with the little screen piece that goes all around the perimeter of the box (which I wanted to have as the new cat is a boy and I wanted to minimize spraying outside the box). But the girl cats love it, too! I think they feel protected. In the past I have had cats reject fully covered boxes, but this one feels like midway between a covered box and a shallow open box. I can’t believe I’m writing a review of a litter box, but as this one turned out to be so popular with those using it, I felt I had to let y’all know. It’s definitely worth a try.

Van bed large sided cat litter box
I like the litter box has sides, but still not high enough for my one cat. I have a fully enclosed one for him. The material it is made with is durable and allows the litter to slide right out.

All plastic but easy to clean
This is a standard size litter box. It is made of all plastic but I think it makes it easier to clean. My cat has had no problems going the bathroom in it.

  9. Grannyhazel

Not used by our cat yet but it’s fairly large and smart looking. We’ve never had a cat before our rescue cat arrived 2mths ago, so I can’t make a comparison. But it looks very fit for purpose so I’m happy with my purchase.

I have a senior cat who started refusing to use his litter box. My carpet seemed to work better. Once I realized his old box was causing him pain to get in I ordered this one. Very easy entry for a cat with arthritis. It’s not that big but it works. This box saved my day.
