Works well on poodles / doodles
I tried it on my poodle, and it worked very well! My dog used to have really dry hair, but this conditioner made his coat incredibly soft, shiny, and hydrated. The colloidal oatmeal and jojoba seem to do the trick, and I love how it has a long-lasting, nice scent. It’s also easy to rinse out, which is a plus. Definitely recommend it if your dog has dry or dull fur!

Makes my dogs smell great after their baths
I like this brands dog shampoos and conditioners. I’ve been using several different products from this brand’s line for several years now. I’ve liked them even before they changed the the look of their product and stopped using dyes. I like it even better since they have changed. This conditioner works well. It doesn’t dry my dog’s skin out. Doesn’t cause excessive itching. It rinses well and leaves the coat very soft and fluffy (toy poodles). And the dogs smell so good when their bath is over. They are bathed monthly and the smell stays strong for quit a few days and then gradually starts to fade away. I highly recommend.

Favorite conditioner for our doodle
Ordered the gallon size of chewy in June 2020, finished it end of February 2025. Absolutely love this conditioner for our doodle pup. It smells so good and makes her fur extra soft. We like to use a little bit at the end of her bath as a leave in conditioner type which keeps her smelling amazing even longer. Our pup is about 50-60lbs and averages one bath a week so makes the cost so worth it

I can’t say enough good things about the Veterinary Formula Smart Coat Complex Ultra Oatmeal Moisturizing Conditioner! My poor furbaby has struggled with skin allergies for a while, and nothing seemed to help with the itching—until we tried this. After just one use, my dog’s itching reduced considerably, and I was blown away by how soft and silky his coat felt. Not only that, but he smells amazing now, and the scent lasts for days!The oatmeal formula is so gentle on his sensitive skin, and I’ve noticed a big improvement in the overall health of his coat. I love that it’s also moisturizing without leaving any greasy residue. This conditioner has been a real lifesaver for my dog, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with similar issues!

Didn’t know I needed
This smells so good! It has definitely helped my dog’s coat to retain skin moisture! Rinses off easily and works well. Have been a big fan of this brand for a few years now and I didn’t know they had conditioner! I’d say leave it on your pets coat for about 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off so you it works like it should!

Decent Conditioner but Not Extraordinary
I recently tried the Veterinary Formula Smart Coat Complex Ultra Oatmeal Moisturizing Conditioner for my dog. While it does a decent job of moisturizing and left my dog’s coat feeling softer, I didn’t find it particularly exceptional. The oatmeal scent is pleasant, but it didn’t last as long as I hoped. Additionally, I had to use a fair amount of the product to see any noticeable difference in the coat’s shine and smoothness. It’s a good conditioner but not the best one I’ve used. Overall, it’s an average product that may work better for dogs with mildly dry skin.

If you’re looking for a nice smell and soft finish this conditioner works well. Smells really good. I use it for my Pom and Schnauzer. I also bought the detangler to pair it. Works just as good as the pet smart ones. Just more affordable

Lovely scent not to strong but my groomer who I gave it to. To wash my Bichon said he had a pink line running down his back after rinsing. So she had to Re wash him.The shampoo in this range is the best I’ve used as my Bobby got attacked and loss fur to the shock. His fur started growing back using this shampoo. So the conditioner am going to keep using. Maybe water it down a fraction. As I trust the brand in what it’s doing to help my fur baby fur growing back.
