Perfect thickness, waterproof, and size for my dog
Xl 50 lb dog long bodyThis is the first coat I’ve ever been able to get on my girl. She’s about 50 pounds. It’s perfect for her. It’s very waterproof and it’s got fleece on the inside and it’s an expensive really good Velcro too.

I chose this particular coat mainly because it doesn’t have a hood. A hood on a dog coat seems silly, and just likely to annoy the dog. This coat feels like good quality, with a waterproof shell and fleecy lining. For our dog, it fits a big loosely, but I think that’s good. It’s comfortable and easy to put on. This is very important because he HATES it! I’m trying to train him to let me put it on when it’s raining because he loves to be outside, but comes in soaking wet over and over throughout the day. With this, I do have to chase him down, but you can get it in place very quickly with the velcro across the chest and under the torso. There is a lot of velcro to overlap, so it’s adjustable and easy to match up when your dog is squirming to get away. He’s slowly getting accustomed to the coat, and I like not having to towel him off every time he comes in from the rain.

It’s a good rain coat.
Bought for 2 dogs. This worked for our 2 45 pound dogs (border collie and red heeler). Bought a large for both of them and it fits both well. (The sizing says it would work on our 25 pound mini aussie -(NOT). It would be huge. I’ll try a medium even though the measurements indicated are smaller than he is.) Quality is very good, though their long hair does get trapped in the Velcro and every so often I need to clean it out to get the coat to stay put. I also sewed a button hole where the harness goes through the coat. Other than that, it’s a nice product and I’m buying it again in the medium to see if it fits our aussie.

Just what I needed
This is a game changer. I wanted something that would cut down my drying time after walking my two dogs in the rain. For them to be willing to wear it, I needed something comfortable and without a hood. This is PERFECT. The thin fleece layer makes it feel like a sweater (which they love), it’s easy to put on, it stays in place, and it’s functional (their backs stay dry). They also look so sleek. My older male dog did accidentally pee on the stomach part 1x, but he has terrible aim so this may be just him and not a design flaw. I followed body measurements and ended up with ones that had a great fit. My mid sized dog is 38lbs and a large fit him well (green in the photo) My little one is 20lbs and a medium fits perfect (blue).

VERY nice
I wasn’t expecting much from this inexpensive little product, but boy was I pleased. And so was my dog. This raincoat looks great, fits well, and is thoroughly water resistant. Super easy to put on, also. Just one velcroed fabric band around her neck/chest and one wider one over her belly. No tricky straps to adjust. Just a simple, sleek, attractive fit.Its wide velcro belly band is big enough to fit a quite hefty dog, but cinches down easily to fit my very slender 32-pound girl.The light fleecy lining is just right for a cool, but not cold, day. Looks great. Works great. What more needs saying?

Totally functional!
I waited to have multiple opportunities to use this product in the rain. I’ve had my dog out in this in both light drizzles, and heavy rains. In all situations, he remains completely dry. His comfort and range of motion are totally unaffected, it’s easy to take on and off, and this raincoat looks sporty as well.I recommend ignoring peoples recommendations on sizing in the comments. I followed the sizing advice of some of the other commenters, and I ended up having to replace the jacket because it was sized totally wrong. However, after measuring my dog and following the sizing chart precisely, the second coat was sized well. Just follow the sizing chart using a measuring tape.One final comment about the opening for the leash. I don’t use that, and maybe you will or will not. The fact its not functional for the devices I use is inconsequential for me. I use two different harnesses for my dog. One easily goes right over the coat, the other can either go over or beneath the coat and in all cases, everything still functions normally.It’s tempting to wonder if there could be a “nicer” coat for dogs, but this product leaves very little room for improvement because it just looks great, works great, and is priced great too.

I have a 1 1/2 old GSD. I purchased an 2X. She probably weighs between 80-90 pounds. Her chest is 34” , neck 19”and her length is 23”. This coat is not too heavy with 2 Velcro straps one around the neck then around her stomach I might say right after her front legs. Super easy to put on. Place it on the dogs back and strap them in. I found it easier to Velcro the neck first then you can adjust the coat on their back and the Velcro around their stomach. This jacket is adjustable Velcro straps so she even has room to grow. My main concern if she’s walking and it’s misting rain/snow she won’t get wet. Plus the reflective strip covers well. When we go for a walk we both have reflective gear on. LOL. Great product. Do your measurements of your pet before you purchase. Oh lastly it doesn’t interfere with your pets collar or leash.

So I read the reviews before I ordered which all were good but suggested to size up because it runs small trigger is a Small/medium sized dog as you can see in the photo I took the advice and ordered up I got him an extra large and it fits perfect and it’s super cute He doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable or hate it it’s great for keeping the belly cleaned that’s the whole reason I bought it

Medium did not fit my dog (pug X) I measured her correctly and based my order on those measurements. It was a very snug fit…too snug and it had to go into the donations bag. Just as a guide, a large would fit a Pug…just saying

This item arrived in a timely fashion. It is worth your time to do the measurement required. Our jacket fits our dog perfectly. Material is nice and the fluorescence colour would great in early morning walks. I would recommend this item.
