I recently purchased a three month Shih Tzu puppy and this shampoo is amazing! When I give him a bath he smells like flowers and cotton candy!🤭 I love that it is tear free and I can wash his face with it and it doesn’t burn his eyes! Due to his breed, I do have to be mindful of his eyes and buildup. During the week I take a small dropper of the solution and mix with water so I can keep his face clean. After his bath, his hair is clean and smells so good! It doesn’t make him dry or itchy, the scent stays for days and his hair is so soft and fluffy!!🐶

My dogs and I have always been fans of Wahl products, so when my dog had her first litter, I started looking for a quality puppy formula. I knew I shouldn’t bathe the puppies just yet, but one morning, I woke up to find that three out of the five were completely covered in poop—there was no way around cleaning them! I quickly searched on Amazon and found this product, which arrived the very next day. It was a lifesaver! The formula is gentle, and it came in a lovely pink color with a beautiful scent. My pup loves bath time. This soap gets him clean, and makes his fur beautifully soft afterwards. Easy to come out. He smells wonderful after the tub and he doesn’t itch at all. Would recommend again. It has a nice thick lather. A little goes a long way.

This shampoo is nice, it lathers very well, and the dogs don’t mind it even close to the eyes. The smell is pleasant and not overpowering, but it does not last as long after the wash as some others I have used or a professional groomer uses.

Other than Chris Christensen, most of the tools and products in my salon are from Wahl. I love the smell of Wahl shampoos and they do a great job on most coat types. Don’t forget to rinse WELL and follow with a good conditioner. Shampoo opens the cuticle and conditioner closes it again, leaving the hair shinier and more manageable.Understand that human shampoo is made for our highly acidic pH of 5.5. Dog’s skin is around 7.0 so our shampoos are very harsh and will dry out their skin and dull their coats.TIP: use a wet shower puff/loofah and add a small amount of shampoo. Use your hands to create a thick lather and go over the dog from the top of the head down. Use a toothbrush to wash under the eyes. Keep a bottle of saline solution nearby and flush the eyes after the bath in case some shampoo splashed in the eyes.DOES IT HELP WITH SHEDDING? Well, a good warm (not hot) bath will loosen undercoat and dead coat and help with shedding. A double-coated breed should be brushed out before the bath, in the tub (I use a rubber curry), and during the drying process and that will remove most of the hair that’s ready to come out. The best cure for excessive shedding is to treat the problem from the inside out. Feed that coat with the best high-quality food or even better, a raw or home-cooked diet with supplements.Brushing your dog daily (or at least weekly) will provide excellent results in the battle against shedding. Brushing not only removes dead coat, excessive undercoat, and tangles, but it stimulates circulation and keeps the hair follicles healthy. Healthy hair follicles hold onto the hair!

It smells so good and clean, but, they still she’d after I hit them with their dryer, also the bottle is a very good size too, no other complaints, just that they still she’d washed them about 3 times already bottle lasts a good amount of washes I have 3 dogs , a husky, a Malinois and a Cain corso puppy short hair and still she’d too , changing their food to raw and more oils but still she’d… it’s a reasonable price for the size but maybe change the label ,to just dog shampoo.
