Both cats and the dog love it
We bought this for our large dog to replace a worn out ne. The material is softer and easier to clean. It fits our 75 pound large breed dog well, even with two stabdard size cats competing for room. It goes ithrough the laundry machines easily.

    My Dog Likes It
This is a good mat for traveling and my dog seems to like it (see picture). It isn’t super anti slip on a wood floor but it does OK. Also, it is pretty thin but I was expecting that as it is made for inside a crate. I am not using it like that however. We are mostly using it as a spot for my dog Snowball to lie on in the living room and then as a travel bed as it doesn’t take up much room in the car.I am fairly pleased with it. There is a trade off between this and a plushy bed. In some ways I wish it used a little stiffer foam but that might affect its pack-ability. It is working for us. Time will tell how long it lasts after a few washings.

    Not very tough.
My GSD puppy tore it apart withing a few hours.

    Don’t buy it
LIKED: The top fabric is soft.DIDN’T LIKE: This dog mat looks nothing like pictured. The back is a synthetic material with some bumps – it is NOT ANTI SLIP, except maybe on a long pile carpet – it easily slid around on every other kind of surface I checked, including a tight weave carpet, although was pretty good on the cargo liner of my SUV. It does stay put better with a little weight on it.It came folded, and had a big hump down the middle that would not be smoothed out, even though there was a little room for extra filling around all the edges. So, I followed the instructions and washed it on cold, gentle cycle and low spin. When I pulled it out of the washer, the foam piece on the inside had formed itself into a tangled mess. This could have been avoided by sewing across it on the diagonal, or tacking it down in 4 or more places.I was going to just toss it, but decided to work with it longer than I should have to see if the hump had gone. This would have been so much easier if they had simply sewn a zipper on one side (if it’s not tacked down anywhere). It was more work than I think most people would want to do. And yes, the hump had gone, but now the foam pad on the inside no longer fit in its envelope.Once I had worked it out to all the edges, on one short side end there was a good 2-3″ of foam pad that no longer fit. I don’t know whether the foam pad inside had stretched to a bigger size, or if the outside envelope had simply shrunk – even though washed on a short cycle in completely cold water with no soap. So, I would classify this as a somewhat slippery-bottomed, non-washable, non-flat dog mat, and do not recommend it as it is currently made.

    Nice crate mat
I got the XL for our large crate, and it fit well. It is thin, but not too thin, as it is just a crate mat and not a dog bed. One of our girls is a chewer, so we cannot put a thick bed in the crate because she will chew it up. She does better with thin mats, and so I am hoping this mat will survive her. It is a good deal for the price too.

    Hard to wash
I usually make sure to get my dogs beds that have a removable cover. But I didn’t this time. And it was a mistake. The bed is awkward for the washer and the dryer. The foam insert was wonky inside the cover after drying. After I got it straightened out it was still not straight. But it would do. When it was time to wash it again, I was really dreading the whole process. But I pressed on. After the 2nd wash it was more mangled than the first. I really just didn’t have the energy to fight with it knowing I would have to do it again next week. So I trashed it and gave my dog a big blanket instead. Moral of thr story, don’t waste your time.

    It’s good enough
I felt it’s a little thin, as in the foam is open-cell and thus very collapsible, but it gets the job done. The underside is easy to clean because it’s vinyl or something, and the top is comfortable. I got it for a doggo that isn’t mine, but she readily lounges on it and sleeps on it, so I’ll take that as a seal of approval.

Fits crate well but very thin
This fits my English mastiffs xl crate very well. However, it is very thin and doesn’t seem well made. I’ve bought much better quality beds in the past for similar price.
