   Zippers not easy for dog to reach and chew. Highly water resistant. Touch canvas material.
   I PURCHASED FOUR OF THESE EXCELLENT CRATE PAD COVERS. My Mastiff sheds a ton of her double coat of tough outer fur and soft undercoat fur which cling to and penetrate all her crate pads. This makes laundering her crate pads a frequent necessity and requires making sure after each load that the filtering system in my washing machine does not get clogged with fur. These tough canvas, highly water-resistant crate pad coverts are perfect. The zippers are well hidden so my dog cannot easily get to them to chew on them (I’ve had to throw out numerous other crate pad covers because of chewed-up zippers). Dog fur still accumulates on these covers but when I launder them, practically all the dog fur is cleaned off. Inserting crate pads into these canvas covers and removing the crate pads is fast and easy, Cold water wash and air dry is best to maintain these crate pad covers. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY IN HEAT!!! If you have an air dry-only setting, use that. I hang mine outside on a laundry line to air dry them. Very happy I found these crate pad covers for a reasonable price and high-quality materials and construction. I will order more just to be sure I have a good supply for an aging dog with urinary issues. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND A VERY REASONABLE PRICE FOR THE BUDGET-MINDED SHOPPER.

   So far, so good…
   for my two medium to large pups. One is an Irish Staffordshire and the other is an American Staffordshire, (Staffie for short). They love having their own bed to sleep on, but when I bought their beds covered in soft sherp, they managed to destroy the top very quickly. This is because they have their own little blankets and love to claw them into a position they like to cuddle on. This clawing at their blankets destroyed the soft cover of their beds. So, I bought this bed, one for each, and found it is completely covered in 600D Oxford fabric, which is waterproof, their hair doesn’t stick to and is stain resistant, (can be wiped clean). It is not a soft, fabric, but more like plastic or rubber, which does make noise when they get on their beds, but they have not managed to destroy their covers as they claw at their blankets into a lump for them to cuddle. So far, no tears at all! They still have their blankets, which I throw in the wash from time to time, for the soft and cuddly part of their beds. They are two, happy pups now and their beds are helpful towards the orthopedic needs these dogs will need as they age.

   My favorite bed covers!
   I have bought these in almost every size now. Some were stuffed with non-waterproof dog beds the same size. Others were filled with an old memory foam mattress topper that I was replacing. They are truly waterproof and easy to clean. I also appreciate the rounded corners that aren’t as enticing to chew on as bed covers with square corners.

   Poor quality zipper
   Sturdy, but the zipper is good for nothing. At first, my dog didn’t like the cover because it was not very skin-friendly. I placed the cover (filled with foam) in his crate, and the dog accepted it. All was good for 2 months until the dog found out that there was a zipper! The zipper is poor quality plastic, like for a ladies’ skirt. Not for a puppy that loves chewing.The dog destroyed the zipper overnight. I would not recommend the cover for young dogs.

   Nice inner liner for dog bed
   I bought two of these and they fit nicely under the outer shell of my dogs beds to protect the inner stuffing from getting soiled when my old dog has “problems”. The fabric, zipper and construction of them seemed good. Not super high quality, but very nice considering the reasonable price. They went through the washer and dryer on low heat just fine. I like that they are not noisy when my dog moves around on them, since many waterproof liners can be. I definitely recommend.

   Nice covers
   These fit perfectly and from the way they hold air in, they are waterproof too! After a bit of use, they get less stiff and they wash well. Will definitely order more of these when needed!
