Quiet and Works Well if Your Dog Will Tolerate It
This is a good quality and quiet dog nail grinder. If your dog will tolerate it, it will work well. My dog hates it, but he hates anything having to do with his nails. This is very gentle, though, and quiet at all five speeds. It takes about two hours to charge and will last through many nail trimming sessions. It has a good handfeel to it and feels sturdy. It comes with two diamond grinding wheels and a bunch of tiny sponges. You wet the sponges and put them in a little door on the back of the unit to absorb the filings. My door does not hinge and just comes completely off. You need a nail to grab the little indent and pull it off. I don’t know if it will last very long, and that’s a bit concerning because if you don’t have that, it will let the shavings fall on the floor. Packaging is very generic. It comes with a small instruction pamphlet in both Chinese and English. The writing on the pamphlet is very small, but the item itself is intuitive. You long press to turn it on, and you do a short press to change it from speeds that go from one through five. There’s also a button to turn on a little LED light, which is actually helpful. Giftability is a 3.75/5 because packaging is really mid. It’s currently priced at $30, and for that price, I think packaging should be better and it should also come with a drawstring carry bag.

looks pretty decently made. the sound was a little bit for scary cat but she gets used to it after a while. still it’s better than cutting it as she is always rejecting it.

Too noisy for scaredy cat dogs
I have large dogs and I wanted something I could use to cut their nails without having to take them to the vet. I’d like to say this worked but it truly isn’t silent it’s quite noisy. It’s the noise that scares my dogs. It is lightweight to hold and comfortable. It’s fairly easy to use and the battery lasts quite a long time. My dogs just won’t let it near them unless someone sits on them.
