Good size and build quality for a large cat when hanging off window sill
My 15 lb Calico cat took an instant liking to this window sill cat perch. Now she doesn’t have to sit on the narrow window sill anymore!Pro: frame is made of aluminum and easy to assemble with plastic hooks to the window sill and an easily adjustable wall support features. The installation of the soft zip-on cat bed is a bit tricky but it can be zipped all the way, as shown on one of the provided pictures, once you realize that the zippers are not symmetric and one is indeed longer than the other and is to be used on the far side of the frame on the bar furthest away from the mounting hooks. The provided instructions does not say this, but it is described by the seller of this product on one of their provided informational images for this listing. It will pull the bed taunted to support your cat’s weight, though I suspect over time and use, the material will start losing its tightness and may sag since there is no structure underneath it to support repetitive use of your cat’s weight, which will be expected. There is a lot of usable space: 17″ wide by 14″ deep, so a large cat may be accommodated. Its neutral color (in my case: gray) is visually appealing to the eyes and blends in well with my window sill.Con: the polyester undercover of the bed, when new, does produce an audible squeaking sound when there is motion on the cat bed. Installing the cat bed onto the frame isn’t easy due to how tight the bed needs to be pulled across the frame when zipping up the two zippers, but again, it can be done and is a necessity to ensure that the bed will support your cat’s weight. Please note that I am reviewing this for use of this cat perch configured to mounting it onto a window sill. Although it does have an option to be mounted directly to the window pane via four large suction cups that are screwed into the frame with metal studs, I do not trust the holding power of suction cups, despite the large size that comes with the frame to support the weight of my 15lb cat plus the weight of the frame and the bed, which I am guesstimating is about 2-3lbs.

Nice design. Stable and secure. And it must be comfy
Jeeeez. Absolutely instant winner. She was asleep in it 4 minutes after i stuck it to the glassThe fabric seems to only go on a certain way. But the only way to know if you’re putting it on the wrong way as if it is super Duper hard to zip up both sidesIf you find it it’s almost impossible to zip up, then just take it off and spin it around. That should make it much easierIt’s made from a light plastic but the plastic feels pretty heavy duty and it has a very good design. If you’re not gonna use the suction cups you want to make sure that the little tabs at the front actually hook over the metal part of your window track. If you’re gonna use the suction cups on glass make sure you dry them before sticking them to the glass or they won’t stick very well. I used compressed air to dry them for my first test and then my second test I used a lint free rag and both did not give me any issues she’s been laying in it for over two hours now.I feel very confident that those suction cups are not gonna come undone until I decide to move themMy cat weighs about 11 pounds and I feel confident that I can put two or three more cats on itAs far as the comfort level… It must be a million stars because she does not want to get out of it

I advise not to purchase.
Cushion doesn’t fit and zipper doesn’t close completely.

Not enthused
I had high hopes for this bed since it was meant to be placed in a window slot. My kitten is such a nosey little lady, she loves to look out of the windows and watch the world go by. I figured a comfy bed would make the experience more enjoyable for her. Well…no. She refuses to even lay on it. I’ve placed it in several areas where she typically likes to rest at. Each time, I’ve found her sleeping near the bed but never on it. She’s such a finicky baby. The bed is pretty soft and isn’t too thick for the spring weather. If your cat isn’t a diva, they may like it.And even if she didn’t refuse to sleep on it, it wouldn’t be functional in the way that it was intended to be. The suction cups would not stick to any of the surfaces in my home. I wiped them, cleaned off the surfaces the wall, and left a couple drops of water on them before trying to get them to stick. None of my efforts bore any fruit. The suction cups just slowly lifted off of the wall. On top of the suction cups being useless, the hook part of the frame that is meant to go under the windowsill didn’t fit. It was too thick for my windows, so they wouldn’t close all of the way. I could’ve put it into my bed frame, but why waste effort when she’d rather jump on my chest and make herself comfortable at 4 am?Putting everything together was a pain in my backside. In order to be able to fully zip up the frames, one side at a time has to be done. And a good chunk of the time the pull would be so tight that I couldn’t get the other side on properly. I zipped up the sockets about halfway through and pushed the rest of the bedding down so that I could slide the frame in both ends. That ended up working, but not without further frustration. The poles did not want to connect. One of them was slightly wider than the other by a few centimeters, so I had to use so much upper body strength just to get them to fit. This bed really wasn’t worth all of the effort that it took to put it together and set it up. Plus my cat won’t sleep on it. So there’s that.
