I have 2.i let them both roll around at the same time.
Keeps my cats occupied. Cats are very ingredient. They get bored easily. I have 2 of these balls and let them but roll around the house at the same time. One might be in the kitchen, the other in the living room. Sometimes they’re but in the same room and collide off each other occasionally. Even I sometimes just sit there and watch them roll around lol.I don’t experience the issues I see in some comments. “Not enough traction”, “doesn’t work on carpet”, etcIf you have a floor rug that isn’t plush, they’ll roll fine on and over it. Sometimes they roll right over the lip of where the carpet edge meets floor between the dining room and living room. The living room has semi-plush carpet. They even roll on that, although not very well. They usual end op on a little create they v enshrined l eventuality dig into and just spin but they’re not designed to roll on carpet. The description even says that. The fact that they can to some degree is a bonus. They’re inexpensive, no batteries (USB charging), they’re pretty fast on hard floors, they are lightweight so are safe for your pets unless they’re mice or small lizards or whatever. There’s a variety of colors to choose from, they turn off automatically after about 20min but just press the button every once in awhile to keep it ruling. Charge usual lasts a few days.Recommended

Looked fun but cats lost interest quickly
My cats were interested in this for about 5 minutes. Then it just ran around on the floor till I finally got up and turned it off. Several days later I tried it again and all 3 cats didn’t play with it, just watched it for a few minutes. I do have some theories on why. First it makes a lot of noise while it’s turned on. They may have been turned off by that. Second, it is very loud when bouncing off the walls. This is because the ball is very heavy. Not sure about the cats but it drove me crazy. The one good thing I have to say is it is very good at getting itself out of any corners or other small areas. It covers a lot of ground and can go from room to room on its own. I’m really sorry the cats didn’t like it. It seems like a very solid toy that could stand up to a lot of abuse such bouncing off stuff all day. Maybe a small dog would enjoy it more. It would also be a lot more quiet if the outside was rubber instead of hard plastic.

    Rechargeable Self Moving Ball
Surprisingly, this self moving cat ball is great! It keeps our cats entertained and mesmerized. It charges easily and bounces around the house. It isn’t a smart ball, so it does get stuck easily and then the cats lose interest. But overall, if you are looking for something different to entertain your cat, it works well and is a great toy.

    Weak battery
Thought it was going to be a game changer for my cats and they were like nahh! So k was disappointed . This ball is pretty interactive and durable. I , not my cats, loved the self-rolling. I was pleased , my cats did not care. However, I find myself charging it way too often after short periods of time. All cats are different, so give it a try.

Great toy until it stopped charging
My 8 year old kitty LOVED his Christmas gift until last week when it decided to stopped recharging. It worked great on tiled floor, carpet and area rugs, and ran for a good 20-30 minutes at first. It was great interactive fun for my boy’s hunting instinct and we used it every day or two until all of a sudden 3 weeks in it decided not to recharge. I’ve tried everything to get it working again – using both the charging cord it came with and another mini-USB charging cord… It starts back up, but now won’t run for more than 1-2 minutes tops. HUGE disappointment for my cat and WASTE of $ for me.UPDATE: After another week or so the ball stopped taking any charge at all. What a shame – very cute idea, if only it would last. I hope the seller/manufacturer will use the negative feedback to improve the toy’s quality & longevity.

Best EVER, my boys are MESMERIZED.
I adopted 2 playful black kitten brothers a few months ago. Now they’re probably 6-7ish months old, so still hyperactive zoomy kittens, but big enough cats to cause some distruction when they really go at it, running and jumping and climbing and wrestling.I honestly bought this with low expectations, cat toys are really hit or miss with them and they seem much more interested in hair ties and bottlecaps. They seemed to enjoy the good ol’ laser pointer, but I’d heard it can be cruel in some ways, because while they have fun playing for a little while, it can leave them confused and even depressed that they can never really “catch” it. I figured this has the similar red light and the added advantage of being hands-free, so it would be fun for an afternoon at least.I turned it on and put it on the carpet, and my boys are transfixed. Unlike the laser they really don’t go crazy trying to catch it, they just sit back and watch, occasionally batting it if it comes close. Adorable.BUT the real unexpected advantage is for when they get the zoomies like I mentioned. They can be barrelling around the house, knocking over anything in their way, driving me nuts! I don’t want to punish them for just being rowdy babies and lock them up, but sometimes they’re just too wild! This toy has magic powers. I turn it on for them and its just… Calm. Tranquility. Peace. It’s like a kitty xanax, just chills them right out. I can leave it running while I do chores and keep them from running underfoot too much, while they stay happy. The dog is less impressed, but she’s also much more content to lay on the bed while I do laundry and gives it plenty of space, and seems grateful for a moment of her little brothers not sprinting all over the house.

I’m super happy with the Wwvvpet cat toy. It charges up quickly and the battery lasts for a long time. My ragdoll cat is unfortunately fat and lazy so she doesn’t chase it, but she’s still very interested in it and likes following it around. It’s great entertainment for her, so I still considers it a win. It doesn’t seem to smell catnip though?
