Tray fits PetSafe Scoopfree automatic litterbox
I have the PetSafe ScoopFree Crystal classic automatic litterbox & this fits that box perfectly, but the scooper bent two of the metal prongs on my automatic box. I would still buy it again though just for the tray…PROS of this product– the stainless steel trays & scooper.1. This is so much better than the disposable trays that it comes with because it is so much easier to keep the room clean and not smelly as this tray doesn’t absorb the pee smell.2. This stainless tray doesn’t have the small cut out bin that separates the main box from where the poop has to go in. Since that area isn’t there, it fits a lot more waste in there so I don’t have to smell it or see it every time I go in the room3. The scooper is very nice and handy to scoop my box without having a plastic scooper that you can’t clean. This part is washable too4. This one will last forever vs the disposable that only lasts for a month, max5. It doesn’t seem to rust & I can sanitize it vs the disposable tray that you can’t clean.6. It’s much easier to do a full litter change than doing it with the disposable trays as this tray is solid, easy to pick up and won’t bend when you try to throw all the litter out.7. I’ve used clumping litter in both the disposable tray and this one, and using this tray, the machine seems to have an easier time scooping the clumping litter.CONS of this product– the stainless steel trays & scooper1. This metal scooper kept snagging on some of the prongs for the automatic part of the box. So the automatic part bent and wouldn’t work until I re-bent it back in place. I removed the scooper bc it kept happening. So I don’t keep the scooper in this box.2. Since I don’t keep it in the box, there’s not a great place to keep it where I can use it for cleaning this box bc it doesn’t attach anywhere else on automatic litterbox. So I have it hanging off the back of a regular litterbox in my closet. It’s not ideal but any means, but the scooper itself is nice to have.3. The original investment is more money to buy this product, but it pays for itself after two months of not having to buy new disposable trays……………………………………………………………PROS of the DISPOSABLE trays & crystal litter:1. It’s easy to find at the store2. Your automatic litterbox will last longer using the crystal litter vs heavier clumping litter3. I was able to use clumping litter in it, but it stuck to the bottom of the disposable pan much moreCONS of original DISPOSABLE tray & crystal litter:1. Crystal litter does NOT absorb much urine, if any, but it will stick to poop. So the original tray will have urine sitting in the bottom, soaking up the urine smell. It will scoop the poop away, but not the urine. Because the original tray is just paper coated with something, even if you use clumping litter, it still absorbs the pee smell. After a couple of uses, it just keeps the room smelly no matter how often I clean it (which is twice a day for two cats with two litter boxes)2. The disposable pan is awkwardly shaped, large, heavy (when full of regular litter) & flimsy with urine stains on it! I can’t tell you how many times I spilled it trying to throw it out. Gross!!3. It’s not economical or good for the environment to keep producing & disposing of these wasteful boxes that never decompose. The disposable boxes are about half the price of this, but that’s only for one month! Then you have to get a new one!4. My cats both hated the crystal litter. It seems kind of sharp for walking on IMO5. It doesn’t come with a scooper, so you have to have your own6. The cut out area where the poop and pee are scooped into is very small and fills up quickly. With clumping litter, it fills up that space even faster such that scooping it out twice a day was still not enough to not have that area overflow.My overall opinion is that this stainless steel tray is much cleaner so my house isn’t smelly, which is totally worth the cost to me!

I love this because it actually cleans very well and super easy. The metal scoop is a little helpful.The con of it is that the metal piece that sticks to the magnet for my scoop free litter box constantly gets caught with the rake and gets stuck. If the crystals end up going under the scoop, it ends up, lifting it a little bit, and the rake ends up having issues raking the litter box

Anyone who’s been suffering the smells of litter should get this set. The tray itself fits perfectly to my petsafe litter box and what’s really amazing about this product is the metal scoop they included. I’ve been using disposable trays over the years and that is a lot of money. I had regular litter boxes before then I changed to the auto litter box but the smells of the litter is just overwhelming. The metal tray helps a lot in reducing odor and the scoop makes cleaning easier than ever. The auto box do the sifting, the scoop collects the poops and all I have to do is empty the scoop and put it back. Wonderful product.
