Exactly What I Wanted
I am glad I bought this for my 14 year old kitty before the cold winter arrived. Now I can’t get her out of it when the temperature drops. Some reviews said it didn’t get warm but that is not true. It doesn’t get as warm as a human heating pad because that is not what it is for. It is low heat, even when set on high, so it must be placed on a hard surface. I had a hard non-flammable thick piece of eurothane and set it on top of my bed. When placed on top of a dense surface & you stick your hand underneath you will find it just right for warming.I like the separate heater that slips in and allows you to wash it when you pull it out. You aren’t supposed to put a blanket over it, but I had to do so. I found a very thin fleece blanket that was almost too thin! But that works great. It still gets hot… and I can wash the blanket now.If you want a high heated muscle warming pad, look elsewhere. This is a gentle warmer that works well and is designed correctly… and is exactly what I wanted. Kitty Confirmed too.

Not really heated
The bed itself is soft but I bought it for the heating element, which doesn’t really seem to exist. Even after leaving it on the highest setting for a couple of hours it didn’t feel warm.

Does not get warm!
I set this at the highest setting and it does not even feel a little warm. Zero. Don’t waste your money. Very disappointed.

I have had this product for two days and my miniature dachshund has managed to tear holes in both the main bed and the little mattress.The heating function is separate and works as described.Would no buy again, but not asking for a refund due to it being totally unsellable.

Nice bed but not really that warm
It’s well made and soft, comfortable, and the cats do sleep in it…but it doesn’t really get that warm. Even when left on the maximum setting and set to never turn off, it doesn’t get very warm because the “bed” insert in the donut is too thick for the heat to pass through. If I take that bed out, it’s much warmer to the touch and about how you’d expect it to feel.The problem is that if you leave it like this, the cat will be laying on the polyester that holds the entire thing together and directly on the heating element. This defeats the purpose of having the soft bed to lay in, and the cats just ignore it if I take it out. Not to mention the fact that it’d be dangerous to have a cat, with claws, on a thin layer over the heating element without the thicker insert.It’s a nice looking product, and it’s not outrageously priced, but it misses the mark for us because it’s just not warm enough.

Outside kitty now has a warm place to snuggle
I am using this heated bed in an outdoor but enclosed cat house for a community cat in my care. The heating pad it perfect for these cold nights. Even though I love in Florida, we do get nights in the 40’s. My little kitty loves this heating pad. I set his house up with a camera inside and every night I get to see him snuggling in this very soft bed. I like that I can choose the heat level and the timer function is also very convenient. The highest heat setting is not at hot as normal heating pads for people, which I think is perfect because cats are quite sensitive. Best of all, the cover is easy to remove and washable!I love this bee overall. Seems well made, and the heating pad has been going strong for several weeks now with no sign of letting up!

My cats love this bed.
Both big & small cats sleep in this, even when it’s not plugged in! Warming can take a while & really only can be felt after a cat is on the heating pad. But the cats love it!
