For Dogs that are:
Any Size! Medium Sized Any Size! Small – Medium Sized Any Size!
It started with JJ
ZippyPaws’ co-founder Jen adopted an adorable golden retriever puppy in 2003. Being the friendly puppy he was, JJ quickly won the hearts of everyone he met. Some of his favorite activities include sleeping with his paws in the air, rolling in the grass, and playing with squeaky plush toys.
As a business student at the University of Southern California, Jen wanted to leverage her family’s 20 years’ of manufacturing experience in the pet industry and her strong design background to create a boutique brand of pet products. ZippyPaws was established in 2011 and ever since we have created toys that embody JJ’s best qualities: playful, colorful, and loads of fun!

Interactive Plush Cat Puzzle Toy with Catnip Miniz

Durable for big rough cats
My maine coon mix big boy loves this toy! He destroys most other toys immediately. This one has barely shown signs of wear after 2 months of consistent use! I can hide a variety of objects inside, including catnip or treats. I love how open ended of a toy this is. I would love it if they made a Winnie the poo honey pot version, but the fishbowl is very cute. Best toy ever for big cats that need stimulation!

Absolutely loved
My cats loved it! Butter specifically is obsessed with the fish, nobody can take it from her. The “water tank” it’s great to put treats inside so they can roll it until they fall off.

The crinkle is hit-or-miss
It’s tough to find a cat toy that every cat will like. I think some cats might like this, but for both of our cats, there was very little interest even after showing them where the little fish are hiding. The whole thing is made of cloth, but there’s an inner layer of something crinkly like thick cellophane that makes a sound like a plastic water bottle. Neither of our cats are fans of that kind of sound. Of course all cats are different, but in my experience, that’s a sound that most cats don’t like. They’re not exactly afraid of it, but they just don’t find it appealing. There’s no detectable catnip scent, although it mentions it in the description. It could be it’s all dried up, but I couldn’t even detect dried catnip. And one of our cats is a catnip connoisseur, mostly for fresh catnip, but even the dried stuff is well received if it’s potent. I can usually smell the catnip, and I didn’t want to cut it open to verify — but I doubt this has catnip in it unless you put some in the bowl on your own.The little fish by themselves were enough to keep their attention for about two tosses, then complete lack of interest. They also saw me put them inside the little bowl, but had no desire to dig them out because there was no incentive.I put a few treats inside to try to catalyze some playfulness when they could smell the treat. Still not interested enough to dig around inside to find the smell. Their heads wouldn’t fit into the opening, which is probably a good thing. So, it’s not terrible, but it’s not for all cats. It’s made well and looks like it *should* be fun. Your cat may vary, of course, so don’t let it stop you, but if it doesn’t work, then try another. There are thousands of toys and you’ll eventually find one your cat likes. Our cats like toys, but they actually like it when we play with them more. So, if you find a toy they like, then that’s a bonus, but cats would prefer you to play with them rather than with a toy almost every time.Overall, not a bad price, but I can only offer a half-hearted recommendation of three stars for this. One star off for the overly-loud crinkle sound and another for zero detectable catnip.
